Club Meetings

CVWA Meetings are normally held on the last Saturday of every second month.

The next CVWA General Meeting will be held on Saturday 11 October at the Club Presidents shed at 35 Loxton St, ILUKA from 9:30am. Bring a chair and a mug.

Slabbing Days

The CVWA holds regular slabbing days – usually each Tuesday.

Shed Days

The CVWA Shed is normally open on Wednesday and Saturday Mornings for members to gather, to use the tools and equipment in the shed, to share knowledge or to purchase timber. Work stops mid-morning for morning tea where members socialise, new members are introduced, and members can ‘Show and Tell’ recent work.

Events

Jacaranda Festival Exhibition and Display – South Grafton Services Club. The 2025 edition of the Jacaranda event runs from Saturday 25-October to Sunday 2-November, 10:00am to 5:00pm each day (closing at 1:00pm on the finbal Sunday). The event will feature the competition display, members sales tables with approx 2000 items for sale, and daily woodworking demonstrations.

Turnfest – a woodturners ‘must go’ event – normally held in March. Each year, a contingent of members travel to the Gold Coast to watch demonstrations and to mingle with other woodworkers.
