Club Meetings

CVWA Meetings are normally held on the last Saturday of every second month. However, meetings have been cancelled indefinitely due to Corona Virus restrictions.

Morning Coffee Meets

Members host informal coffee mornings for Upper Clarence and Lower Clarence. However, these get-togethers have been cancelled indefinitely due to Corona Virus restrictions.

Slabbing Days

The CVWA holds regular slabbing days – usually each Tuesday. However, these have been cancelled indefinitely due to Corona Virus restrictions.

Shed Days

The CVWA Shed is normally open every Thursday for members to gather, to use the tools and equipment in the shed, to share knowledge or to purchase timber. However, due to Corona Virus restrictions there is currently a limit on the number of members attending. Please notify one of the shed managers (Roy Ellery, Colin Lang, Neil Cryer) if you plan on attending.

Events

Jacaranda Festival Exhibition and Display – South Grafton Services Club. The 2020 Jacaranda Woodwork display has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 situation.

Lower Clarence Arts and Crafts Association Art Festival – Woodworking competition and display – Maclean Showgrounds – Date to be advised

Turnfest – a woodturners ‘must go’ event – normally held in March. Due to COVID-19 circumstances, this year’s event has been cancelled.
